Why is my payment held?
Checkout payments are held until the order completes, so neither side can lose money mid-trade.
Payments made through AuctionHouse checkout are held while the order is completed. They are released when you confirm, when the review deadline passes, or when staff decide a dispute.
Nothing caps our obligation to release a held payment to the seller or return it to you.
