How does Buyer Protection work?
Your payment is held while the order is completed, and evidence-supported seller problems may qualify for a full or partial remedy.
When you pay through AuctionHouse checkout, the payment is held while the order is completed. It is only released to the seller when you confirm, when the review deadline passes, or when staff decide a dispute.
Accepted on-platform purchases may qualify for a full or partial goods remedy when evidence supports a seller-caused problem. Ordinary review defaults to 72 hours; follow your order’s deadline or earlier completion.
Hidden problems can be submitted through Contact Support within 30 calendar days after completion. Proven seller account reclamation after completion results in permanent suspension, with no AuctionHouse commercial refund for that claim. Statutory and bank or payment-provider remedies remain separate.
