What isn’t covered?

Private off-platform payments are excluded. If someone asks you to pay outside checkout, the purchase is not protected — and that request is a warning sign.

Problems the buyer caused are excluded once that is established.

A publisher ban, suspension or rollback qualifies only when evidence shows seller misconduct caused the loss. General publisher enforcement risk, or a ban on its own, does not establish seller fault.

Ordinary compensation covers the goods value. It excludes lost game progress, unrelated assets, expected profits and other knock-on losses.
